The first guided tour that I took in 2004 was a truly eye-opening experience. As I watched a tour guide giving in-depth exlanations on history and culture at the Louvre, the the Concorde Square and the Versailles, I found myself deeply fascinated by a profession that I got to know for the first time. Without hesitation, I joined and have been a proud and happy member of the tour service provider that opened a whole new world to me: Biketour.

One day in 2007, after a tour of the Versailles, one of the participants asked me, “What was Korea doing back then?” I could not say a word, feeling immensely embarrassed and ashamed. That was when I pledged myself: “One day, I will serve as a guide back home!”

Fast forward a decade, and I launched Koreabiketour in 2016 to explain Korea and its culture. Now I finally have an answer to the question asked 12 years ago.

I will always stay fully committed to changing the public perception of tour guide as a profession, reshaping Korea’s travel culture, and continue in the reputation and tradition of the brand ‘Biketour“
